Kanab, UT.  |  Oct. 17 - 24, 2024

group

We are pleased to be able to announce that we have finished negotiations for a Feast of Tabernacles site for 2024. We are truly blessed to be able to secure a beautiful and unique location in Kanab, Utah.

We will be observing Feast of Tabernacles from the evening of October 16th, 2024 through October 23rd, and the Eighth Day on October 24th. Some attending may be observing other calendars and some accommodations for the alternate calendars may be able to be made, if you let us know early enough.

We have negotiated meeting space with the Kanab Center reserving their entire ballroom space from 8 AM till 10 PM daily (October 16th -24th ). It will be the center for most of our Feast related activities, including services, meals, games and other activities. The center is currently refurbishing the building next door which contains a gymnasium, which should be completed well before we arrive and we will try to secure that for an activity as well.

More information for this Feast site will be updated and posted on this website as it becomes available. The Feast schedules, including services, Bible studies, teen studies, children’s classes, speakers, group meals, activities etc. will be posted as they become available.

The Kanab area hotels and public facilities each have their own policies concerning smoking and animals (service and/or pets). We are a private church and as such have adopted the following policy to best accommodate the majority of our regular members: No smoking or animals/pets of any kind will be allowed at any of our services, indoor activities, and food lines/eating areas at outdoor activities.

Registration

If you are planning on attending, please register here (or send an email to admin@discipleshipcog.org) as soon as you possibly can. This will help us make proper preparations, schedules, and plans to accommodate the needs of those coming. We again will be designing and giving a free Feast of Tabernacles t-shirt to all those that register and attend this Feast site. Please indicate shirt sizes for all those attending in your group when you fill out the registration information. We will need this information by the end of summer in order to ensure we get them made in time. Unfortunately, late registrations will not be able to get the t-shirts, so please register as early as possible.

Volunteering

1 Corinthians 14:12 “So also you, since you are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek to abound for the edification of the church.” NASU

We, all together, make the Feast a pleasant and uplifting experience for each other. Each and every one of us should be able to find some way in which we can contribute to the needs of the family at God’s Feast. Please use the volunteer pages in the menu above or link here to volunteer to share your given gifts so you too may use what God has given for the edification of His body the church. You may also send an email to admin@discipleshipcog.org or include it on your registration. Activities will depend on volunteers willing to help. If you have ideas and are willing to help with them, please let us know.

1 Peter 4:7 "The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer. 8 Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Be hospitable to one another without complaint. 10 As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."   NASU
